Krumkake I

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
3 large eggs, beaten
3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt

Beat together sugars with butter until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt and mix until well blended. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for one hour. Form dough into 1-1/2 inch diameter balls. Place a ball of dough in the center of your krumkake iron. Gently push top down. Cook on one side for about 1 minute. Turn iron over and cook other side until golden. (No need to turn it over if you are using an electric Krumkake baker). Roll warm cookie on a 1-1/2 inch wooden dowel or cool flat.

Would make this again.
This is an excellent recipe. I truly believe this will be family tradition once tried.
