The Neiman-Marcus Cookie1 cup butter1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups flour 2 1/2 cups blended oatmeal (blend in a blender to a fine powder) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 12 oz. chocolate chips 4 oz. hershey bar (grated) 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chocolate chips, hershey bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. My boyfriend has made these without the hershey bar and found they came out a tad less sweet. Much better for my taste and I'm a Chocolate junkie! Would make this again. These are awesome cookies, I do them every year for a cookie swap, I add butterscotch chips to them. You do have to be careful not to overcook them, or they will be dry, but usually they are great! e
